Kristopher Davis, Trumpet 2006-2010
After several successful years within the ranks of the Jersey Surf, eventually aging-out of The Cadets and subsequently graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Kristopher Davis started his professional career with a small internship and a manager position at Target. Before long however, he found himself back at OU, but this time not as a student.
Kris is currently the assistant manager for the two IT stores on the OU campus where he goes above and beyond typical retail duties. In this position, Kristopher works on the development of the stores and increases outreach to the university and the surrounding community of Norman. Kristopher says, “It’s an amazing job where I get to come into work, interact with people from across campus, build ideas, and watch those ideas come to life!”

Now three years after aging out, Kristopher still teaches local bands and indoor drumlines. Kristopher even has partners across campus request him just because of his DCI background. He thanks his DCI experience for giving him the drive, determination, and confidence to reach his goals.
Kris continues to Share The Love and is now married to fellow Surf (and Blue Stars) alumnus, Kim (Minnotte) Davis.
