Performing Ensembles & Legacy
35 Years of Marching Music. A Legacy That Lives On.
From 1990 to 2024, the Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps inspired performers and audiences with dynamic shows, national tours, and unforgettable educational experiences. As a proud World Class participant in Drum Corps International (DCI), Jersey Surf helped shape the lives of thousands of young musicians across the country.
While our competitive ensembles are no longer active, the impact of those years continues to resonate. Today, our legacy fuels a broader mission—making high-quality music education and performance experiences accessible to all.
A Tradition of Excellence
For more than three decades, Jersey Surf stood for passion, performance, and possibility. We celebrated music, youth development, and the transformative power of teamwork. Our history is filled with powerful moments: championship performances, standing ovations, and lifelong friendships forged on and off the field.
Explore our timeline, relive favorite memories, and honor the community that made it all possible.

Why It Still Matters
Our ensembles may be quiet for now, but the spirit of Surf is louder than ever.
What we built on the field—discipline, joy, creativity—now powers new programs like the Mobile Music Lab, Drum Jawn community events, and inclusive educational initiatives that reach broader audiences of all ages.
Our legacy is alive—in every note, every beat, and every student we serve today.
