Camden County, NJ – July 29, 2026 – Jersey Surf Mobile Music Lab is excited to announce its participation in the 39th Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, taking place August 2-8 in Wilmington, DE. As a proud part of this annual celebration of jazz music and culture, the Mobile Music Lab will be offering hands-on, immersive experiences that bridge music, wellness, and community engagement.
For the second year in a row, festival-goers of all ages will have the opportunity to interact with the Mobile Music Lab in a variety of ways, including:
- Community Drum Circles: Fun and energizing group rhythm sessions featuring Remo World Percussion, that foster creativity, emotional wellness, and connection. Led by experienced facilitators, these drum circles are perfect for people of all ages and skill levels, and will take place before and after mainstage performances during all seven days of the festival.
- Healthy Choices – Music + Nutrition: An engaging program that combines music-making with nutrition education. The Healthy Choices program at this event will once again feature Chef Tim Witcher, Executive Chef and Culinary Arts Educator, and winner of Food Network's Chopped and Rewrapped. Chef Witcher and his FoodSmart USA team will be joining us for special live cooking demos, showcasing easy, accessible, affordable and healthy meal prep tips for families with delicious free samples for event attendees.
- Hands-On Musical Instrument Discovery Zone: A fun, hands-on activity where participants can explore brasswind instruments like pBones, pTrumpets and Nuvo introductory woodwind instruments. Guided by professional educators, these interactive sessions introduce children and adults alike to the joy of music-making.
“We’re thrilled to once again be part of such a legendary event and the largest free jazz festival on the East Coast,” said Bob Jacobs, Executive Director of Jersey Surf, Inc. “The Clifford Brown Jazz Festival is the perfect platform to showcase the power of music-making and wellness as part of a healthful lifestyle.
