To kick off the organization’s 25th Anniversary Weekend, Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps begins celebrations with a “Night at the Riversharks” on July 31st. The corps will perform a special standstill version of their 2015 show, “SunSurfing” before beginning the game with the “Star Spangled Banner.”

This is the first time in two years that the Surf has performed publicly in the South Jersey region. With the long-distance membership growing rapidly over the years, the corps has been able to travel further and further across the country. Corps director and CEO Bob Jacobs said, “We wanted to take the opportunity to come back to our roots for the 25th Anniversary.”

The performance time is set tentatively at 6:30 before the 7:05 game but is subject to change. Tickets are available at the Jersey Surf store and updates are available at the event Facebook page.
