Although Luke Gall has aged out of drum corps, he’s still heavily involved in marching arts activities. Luke is a founder and owner of Ultimate Drill Book, a company that creates educational tools for marching ensembles.
Since its founding in 2010, Luke has lead the development of all products that support tens of thousands of students in schools, colleges and drum corps in North America, Europe, and Asia, including the Jersey Surf.
“Jersey Surf had a profound impact on me at an early age,” explained Luke Gall, former Jersey Surf Baritone. “I attended my first camp as a 13-year-old and expected to be turned away. However, Jersey Surf welcomed me with open arms, gave me a chance, and taught me with care and expertise.”
Now Luke is helping make that experience easier for current Surf Members with the help of his Ultimate Drill Book products. Throughout May, Surf began putting drill on the field for its 2019 production. Members tested out the UDBapp during camp and then worked hard at home to fill out their Ultimate Dot Books before returning for the next camp.
