With the nation on lockdown and the DCI season effectively canceled for 2020, the Jersey Surf wants to rally our community of performers and drum corps fans for the Don’t Stop The Music Virtual Run/Walk.
While dues and show fees go to keeping performers and staff housed, fed, and on the road, each corps has facilities to maintain, equipment to store, and other fixed expenses that exist whether the corps are on the field or not.
The race will consist of distances of 5K, 15K, and a Fun Run/Walk option you don’t want to be held to a specific distance and just be a part of the fun.
The proceeds for this Virtual Race will go to help support the Surf with the 2020 tour on hiatus this summer.
When? Between Monday, June 22, 2020, and Sunday June 28, 2020.
Where? ANYWHERE!

- Register here to lock in your official participation and be eligible to receive a medal and special edition neck gaiter upon completion of the race.
- Prepare for your run: Comfortable shoes, good stretch, your favorite piece of Jersey Surf or Drum Corps gear, get ready to hit the road.
- Record your run with your favorite running app (Nike Running Club, Strava, MapMyRun, etc.) and take a screenshot upon completion.
- Share your race screenshot and a selfie while tagging Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps social media accounts with the #DontStopTheMusic hashtag.
- Sit tight and wait for your special-edition neck gaiter and medal to be shipped to you upon completion.
