In the drum corps activity, every person contributes to a larger whole; such that it is impossible to say “I” – only “WE.”
We know that once our performers trade their uniforms and equipment for their street clothes, some face the added burden of racial injustice. Some of our members go from pursuing and achieving excellence on the field to simply trying to make it home safely.
Because of the harmony we strive to create and embrace in all that we do, we stand in solidarity with our current and former Black performers, educational and administrative team members, parents, volunteers, and board members.
Our hearts are breaking with you.
